I love to plan and host teas. I can't tell you how thrilled I was a couple of years ago when Lynn gave me this tea chest for Christmas!

The three tiered candy dish above was a great find this spring when we visited Blowing Rock, NC.
I found this cake plate at my new consignment shop this summer,

  4. Your tea table looks lovely and that's a beautiful cake plate.

    I love to serve afternoon tea. I buy Pepperidge Farm's really thin bread and make tea sandwiches - ham, egg, cucumber or smoked salmon and serve them with little cakes and scones. It's such a delight.

  11. GROAN - you should have a warning on your blog.... LOL - chocolate cake and I've pledged to 'lose 5' for my husband by his birthday end of this month.

    Ok, I'm shielding my eyes now. haha, only your side panels are chocolate colored. Woe is me.

    Love your header. I love that you make tea a VERY special thing, as it should be.

    Thank you for sharing - the cake plates are lovely. If you make another cake AFTER the first of next month I can make it ... ;P
