Christmas Reload

I finally got all my holiday photos uploaded and thought I'd just run a little montage of shots from our Christmas...

Our Christmas began actually on Christmas Eve when Lynn and I dined with mom and dad... quiet, peaceful and very spiritual.

We didnt see the kids again until the next Monday when they came to our house to stay! We planned our "Christmas" to be the following Wednesday.
Our Christmas morning included brunch.. with our traditional cranberry orange walnut scones,

and this year we had baked egg and sausage finger wraps... much easier and just as tasty!

It is always so wonderful having my parents join us on the special day!!! What a blessing!

The fire in the living room beckoned us to fun around the tree!

Amanda took up residence on the floor and passed out the packages!!!
Photobucket She tried to act happy when she opened her old snow boots from when she was in elementary school.. goodness... they still fit!!!
Photobucket
She was much happier to open her new Wellies... so much needed in the her northern clime!
The evening was spent lazing around a cosy fire!

Unfortunately it was so bitter and since the train was parked way down the track... the guys were too interested in getting the bags all on board and werent in a posing mood, but I was able to snap this of our sweet girl before they got away!

Another holiday has come and gone leaving behind wonderful memories and stories to retell. We have smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts because of the many wonderful blessings God has given us! It was a marvelous time together!!!
