1.   Our household is chomping at the bit for these last 2 weeks  til Spring to  pass...   the  doctor told  my sweetie and me that  spring would be  relief to us from this recurring  viral infection we keep passing back and forth!

2.  Lynn has learned to take  charge in the kitchen   though during these   days of duress...  tonight, he is   baking   some  lovely  orange roughy  and making  a  savory  remoulade  sounds  marvelous!
3.
My prayer team of ladies  is sponsoring  the viewing of this   film  next week.

Join fellow Christians for the
following video presentation:

Friday, March 14th
 7:00pm
Penn Forest Worship Center
3735 Chaparral Dr, Roanoke, VA
(across the road from Cave Spring HS)

"Over the last 500 years, blood-red moons have fallen on the first day of Passover three
separate times. These occurrences were connected to some of the most significant days in
Jewish history: 1492 (the final year of the Spanish Inquisition when Jews were expelled from
Spain), 1948 (statehood for Israel and the War of Independence) and 1967 (the Six-Day War).
Every heavenly body is controlled by the unseen hand of God, which signals coming events to
humanity. There are no solar or lunar accidents. The next series of four blood moons occurs
at Passover and Sukkot in 2014 and 2015. In this video Hagee explores what these blood
moons may mean. Christians must understand these signs and what they bode both for Israel
and the world. Joel 2 and Acts 2 both state: "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in
the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness [eclipse]
and the moon into blood [eclipse] before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes."

Random 5 Friday
Click on  the icon A Rural Journey.... because it is time to  share    with  Nancy  at A Rural Journey.

1.Well, it appears our   winter is losing  its battle and spring is  pushing    forward...
Our  2 feet of snow is   now   a  recent memory....  just  dirty patches remain.
2.  This morning   with the  cold ground and the   warm air,   the   most lovely fog  settled  around the neighborhood..
It  reminded me  so much of those early days of our marriage when we lived   Germany,   the  fog was so   dense  you  couldnt see your hand in front of your face....  especially  at night
3.  So while   spring  was   attempting to   make  its early appearance outside,,,
my valentine roses  are still   making merry in  the dining room.

4. I ran across  this   beautiful photo  of my mother  that  was taken  when she was recuperating from her  knee replacement and was  awarded the model  patient  in  therapy...  to my recollection this was  almost 10 years ago.  now my mother is   soon to be 91    and  she struggles  so much with   her condition....  which has taken   quite a toll on her ...   she  would have   what is  termed failure to thrive because    she  simply refuses to eat....I love this photo of her....
5.

I have been  planning  my  Book Chat Tea menu....  and all I will say about it  now is  ...uummmmm  it is going to  be so much fun!

Friday's Random 5

Random 5 Friday
Click on  the icon to  visit Nancy at A Rural Journey....  because  this is   Valentine's Day, I  will share  5 random things that I love....

1.  I absolutely   adore   facetime  with  our  beautiful daughter and   our  precious granddaughter

2.  I love  the call of the white throated sparrow...
it is the most  hauntingly beautiful sound in nature..
they are  heard   in  our area   in the very early morning....  I think their song is heavenly!
3. I  love  Utz's  buttered popcorn..my absolute  favorite snack!

4.  I  am mesmerized by the  beauty of  Pandora's  Anuna  Radio.  I discovered Anuna, the Celtic singers,  a few years ago when I  was listening to Liveireland radio   in  Dublin..  since that time I have  purchased all of their  cd's  but now with  Pandora  I am learning of so many wonderfully similar Celtic groups...here is a taste of Anuna!

5.  Taking photos of  sunsets....   I only wish   that we had  a better view of the setting sun...that is one reason why I am so anxious to actually  go out to celebrate  Valentine's  tomorrow evening...
hopefully, the  driving conditions will be better... because  our  restaurant is perched on a lofty site  overlooking  the city

We  will be seated by the window   looking  right into the  western sky..... at dusk....  Looking forward  to it all...
