The Proverbs 31 Woman is a woman of noble character. She is a hard-working woman who honors God. She’s not perfect so her qualities are achievable.
She has a reverent fear of the Lord and gains wisdom from God of the life she should lead. She isfearless, trustworthy, diligent, generous, and kind. She is a good steward of everything in her life and allowed God to lead her in her marriage.
Autumn This & That

It's time again for Tuesday 4 held in memory of Toni Taddeo it's founder and previous host. Thank you so much for joining in and helping to keep this alive. It is much appreciated.
It's Autumn and temperatures in many places will be going down, days will be shorter and leaves will be tumbling down.
Let's discuss these things.
1. Do lower temperatures bother you or make you uncomfortable and are you more of a warm climate person? Not at all, I love lowering temperatures, even unto wintry days! The humid, hot days of summer are my bane. (woe)!
2. Do you like the colors associated with Autumn. Clothing wise do they look good on you? I do love the warm colors of Autumn, but I am a summer girl when it comes to coloring. So I may not look too great, so I try to wear more the muted autumn colors, nothing to orange or gold. For example , I recently bought a gorgeous colored jacket for fall!
3. Would you rather:…
- … get lost in a corn maze or go on a hayride?
- … visit an apple orchard or a pumpkin patch ?
- … eat a caramel apple or a candy apple?
- …Cinnamon buns or Pumpkin muffins?

My life has really changed in the last couple of weeks due to a spiritual assignment from the Lord. I had been praying for a long time about the state of the church in the world today... for example, I heard just today that in Britain there are 47 different religions being practiced.. Obviously people are hungry for meaning, connection, and spiritual life, but they are seeking those things in the wrong place. God in my quiet time spoke to my heart. Suddenly I knew I had to stop blogging as I had done since 2008 and blog for Him. I know I have acquired an audience from around the world, even though many people never respond to me in writing, but blogger map would show me viewers from Europe and the east. So I felt I must make a radical change. I gave over 6 days of the week to the Lord and kept Saturday for my regular blogging updates. And thankfully my old blogging friends have responded well to this!
In the process of making this change, I have grown so much in my spiritual walk. I am much more discerning in what and how I post things. As I am really attempting to speak in the nature of our Lord, being His representative makes for much more preceptive thinking and writing. In doing that I feel that clarity has spread over my own thinking about my Christianity and that it s a great thing.
I spend a lot of time seeking just the right information on line to share with the readers to help promote their interest, desire, and motivation to seek a better a relationship with God. I apply things that offers the helps they need so they do not have to spend time looking things up, but I am basically giving the tools to accomplish the things I am suggesting to them; for example, after a very moving video by Joni Tada, about how she prays the promises of God in her weaknesses and trials, I give the readers 3 promises each day to add to their list to keep, to read, memorize, and pray back to God! This has helped me exponentially! They always say the teacher learns more than the students and that is so true!
Apart from that I am so gloriously happy to announce some really great news from my health perspective. I had two medical appts this week that had me somewhat dismayed. One was my Opthomologist been showing concern regarding my glaucoma and had me come in for a battery of tests.. I hate that visual field test.. I pasted them all glowingly.. Thank you, Lord!!!! Also, one of my cat scans form last spring showed I had something on my kidneys which my doctor felt needed to be addressed. I finally got in to see the urologist this week. They were nothing more than cysts.. nothing at all to ever be concerned about! Those are such precious words to hear from a specialist! God is sooo very good!
I pray that continues ; I have a mammogram and colonoscopy scheduled for this month! It seems once you round the corner of those decades after 50, and believe me, they come around so quickly it is very hard to comprehend.. these medical appointments seem to carry different meanings. Each one that ends well is a triumph for the Lord. Thank you, God for caring about Your children and being with us during the good and not so good times!!
A real blessing for us this week, after months of hard work for mainly my poor husband, our lower level of our home is finally all redone. We spent the fist part of the year painting and redoing the living room and dining room. When You change a wall color it takes much refiguring on how the decor should change as well. The woodwork took the longest. My dear husband is a perfectionist and he works very methodically and the translates , SLOWLY! But it always looks amazing. this week He finally finished the den ; which involved a lot of ripping out of cabinetry and restyling things.. tons of refiguring, and redoing. but I love the finished product. Photos are shown up in the first post act the top of the page. but I will show a few before and after here.
Den was maroon with built in shelves and seating over the radiator which made for a very cold room in winter.
