Blessed Award
I have been so completely honored to receive this award twice in the past 24 hours! First of all, my dear friend Stacey, of A Lamb in the Field chose me and then tonight I received it from a very dear cyber friend, Hip Chick whom I have known for several years through an online bulletin board we both continue to enjoy so much. One truly does meet the most amazing folks from all over the country, as well as, the world. Stacey is living in the Scottish Highlands! I would never have met her if it hadn't been for blogging! These associations really do enrich my life and give me a window to the world! It is wonderful!
"This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are extremely charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly written text into the body of their award."
Now to name 8 bloggers who exemplify friendship and sharing.
1) Emily of A Beautiful Life who strives to connect folks with the love of literature through her Reading Groups.
2) Peggy of the Simple Woman whose weekly themes bring together friends from all over the world!
3) Deborah of Pictures, Pots and Pens who promotes friendship through her Friday links of family fotos.
4) Beverly, from How Sweet the Sound ,and her fun and very popular Pink Saturdays!
5) Kelli, of There's No Place Like Home with her Friday Show and Tell sharing across the world.
6) Rhondi, of Rose Colored Glasses, whose beautiful blog was one of the first I ever enjoyed to visit!
7)Iris, of Grace Alone for bringing folks together each Thursday to share in their thankfulness to the Lord!
8)Gina of Simply Heart and Home, whose beautiful blog touches my heart with every post. We are truly kindred spirits!

Beautiful Blogger Award!!
My heart is so full! I can hardly contain my joy and the awesomeness of what this award means to me. I know you probably think wow, she really is proud of this award, and I am so very pleased to receive it, but it represents so much more to me at this particular time. I've been studying in Stepping Up and also Beleiving God, (both Beth Moore studies) how God's timing is so meaningful.
First of all, however, I do wish to thank Lisa of Blessed with Grace for awarding me this very special award along with the other bloggers who participate in her very fun food celebration each week, Tempt My Tummy, Tuesday. I love that weekly endeavor... so many fine recipes and kitchen hints! I look forward to it every week. I thank you so much, Lisa, for this great commemoration, but I am also thanking the Lord for making this possible. They say that when God closes a door he opens a window. That has been made evident in my spiritual life recently in my church ministry, but now I truly beleive God is working in my personal life to demonstrate to me how He wants me to spend my computer time. The door has closed on one very longtime internet endeavor which had always given me great joy until just recently, but now my blogging which is a deeper expression of my life in His kingdom has taken on a much greater impact on my life, and I truly believe that these wonderful awards I have received this week are God's confirmation to me to persevere here in making my voice for Him heard. God is so good.
Award Time Blogging Friends Forever
I was tagged for a special award from a special friend I've known for some time from my visits on the Mitford porch, dear Marian , the Princess of Pink. Marian has always been a very special friend to everyone she meets. Her joy of life and sweetness have never been dispelled even through terrible pain of loss and upheaval in her life. Her testimony is far-reaching- across the Atlantic Ocean and way beyond! She is my special Dutch friend!
There are just 3 rules attached to this award!
1. There are only five people allowed.
2. Four have to be dedicated followers of your blog.
3. One has to be a new follower of your blog, or live in another part of the world.
I tag the following for this award:
Raquel of Kitchen Mysteries
Renna of Finding My Knitch
Aluara of The Cottage Rose
Carrie of Oakrise Cottage
Lynette, of Utterly Unplugged from Jordan
I am amazed and honored to have these wonderful bloggers visit my humble site and pray a special blessing on each one of you today and through0ut this beautiful autumn season!
