It has been quite a while since I shared on TFT. At this season of my life I was just thinking of how my favorite things have changed. Because I have lost a couple of sizes in my clothing, one of my favorite things is replenishing my wardrobe. At age 65+ I am finding that I don't want to look frumpy and old neither in my clothes or my personal look.
In my hair cuts I refuse to go with the granny perms that were so prevalent in my family! Yikes!
I have although embraced my grey and I am loving how it is blended with my natural blond tones which now look much lighter and I get lots of compliments on the color! So that is a big savings every 6 weeks..
I have no curl, just a slight wave, and little volume so I depend on good cuts to give me a style.
.
Cute, stylish, and almost always has a great sale going on!
Then I love Coldwater Creek..
I love their quality, as well as their styles and they regularly have great sales
But my favorite, indeed, is J Jill!
I love tunics for various reasons.. I just love the look as well!!!
Hubs wonders, I'm sure, what has come over me because I am always looking for sales in one of these catalogues, and I order something every week it seems, but there again I am purging my regular wardrobe every eek. I refuse to go through life wearing gold clothing what is very loose on me.. I want to look as good as I can in this season of life!
Oh, and one thing I ordered and got a couple of weeks ago, is from the Irish Store. I am so thrilled that I was able to find a gorgeous sweater in my size and at a good price point!! (75.00)
I love the cosiness of this .. in a rich loden green, and the wonderful thickness of this sweater will see me through whatever winter wants to throw at me. As I have gotten older, I just do not retain warmth like I used to. and I love a cosy sweater. .. getting this one was a dream come true!!!
