Wednesday Medley

1. Avast, ye mateys! On this date in 1820, a whale rammed and sank the Essex. This served as inspiration for Herman Melville's Moby-Dick which was a commercial failure. Not until years after Melville's passing was the book regarded as a masterpiece.
As a retired teacher of third and fourth grade this reminded me of one of my favorite times each year ;the reading of the child's version of Moby Dick. The students always sat amazed with the awesome voyage of the Pequod and the misadventure of Captain Ahab!

Do you know of something that was considered a failure only to have that very same idea eventually become a success? Leonardo Da Vinci's ideas of flight weren't well received in 1485 but a dream was planted !

2. Today we celebrate National Absurdity Day. We are encouraged to do crazy and zany things. Please share a crazy and zany thing you've done — as long as the statute of limitations has expired!
I wish I could think of something, but alas, I'm afraid my younger existence was rather dull.

3. Today is National Peanut Butter Fudge Day. Tomorrow is National Gingerbread Cookie Day. Would you rather be celebrating with peanut butter fudge or a gingerbread man?

Peanut butter fudge Day, for sure.

4. This is National Farm — City Week. During this week, the importance of agriculture in everyday life and learning about healthy food choices is stressed. Do you avoid fast food and convenience foods? Try to maintain a balance? We do avoid fast food and pre-packaged food as much as possible. I am horrified of GMOs and additives. For us, fresh is the only way. I often cook very plain and simple food , but fresh at all costs.. I suppose it is my farm heritage coming into play!
5. And we shoot the Nerf gun at the laptop screen to select our birthday celebrant.... Happy Birthday, Chiyono Hasegawa! (1896–2011). She achieved one hundred and fifteen years of age!

When meeting someone of an advanced age, are you in awe of all the wondrous (and terrifying) things that person witnessed? Yes, especially now that I am of a certain age and I am so sad that I didn't in some way manage to record more of my grandprents' stories. I remember sitting by their sides enraptured by the tales, but now have long forgotten the details.

6. Please share with us something interesting about your week. I imagine my something interesting will happen tonight...at choir practice.. Hubs and I have recently joined a new church and joined in to sing at the Christmas special. It is a small choir and since they didn't need another soprano I am singing alto which I can do but I am not really comfortable doing it as I can't seem to stay on my line of music after 40 years of singing soprano. We received our music 2 weeks ago and we were both sick last week so this will be a very important practice and neither of us have really nailed down our tune for singing . Hubs is using this lovely day to rake leaves so I imagine we will be cramming like intense "uni" students this afternoon to get some semblance of practice in before we go tonight. Pray Hubs will not throw up his hands and give it up for a lost cause..

1. Sadie Hawkins' Day. Also known as Turn-About Day. On this date in Dogpatch, Judge Hawkins declared a race between the town's eligible bachelors and the spinsters (including his daughter, Sadie) with the prize being matrimony. Nowadays celebrated as a day on which the girl asks the boy to the big sock hop.

I invited my future husband to the Sadie Hawkins Dance our senior year of high school in 1968..

For those of us who are single: Any special plans? Is a restraining order and a monitoring anklet hampering you from finding true love?

N/A For those of us who are in a relationship: Do you have any words of encouragement for the single ladies? Advice on removing a monitoring anklet?

Expect and show respect at all times.. Save your self for marriage and only go around with guys who hold that same virtue! Anything less is not worth your time and trouble!

2. Today is Indian Pudding Day. Colonists to America substituted cornmeal which they called "Indian flour" in their recipes for hasty pudding. Indian pudding fell out of favor in the late nineteenth century with its long cooking time.

Are you a crock pot, electric / gas range, microwave cook? Or do you go to restaurants or order take-out / delivery?

We do eat out a lot, and I use the microwave at times, but good old fashioned cooking is always best. But at this time of life for just the two of us, it isn't always my go to!
Bonus question: Vanilla ice cream is listed as an optional topping. Is it really optional? It would be my #1 topping!

3. National Education Support Professionals Day recognizes the unsung school heroines: Bus drivers, cafeteria ladies, secretaries, crossing guards, custodial workers...

Anyone special to whom you want to give a shout out? As a career teacher of 30 years I will say the school secretary was a great heroine of the school We all loved both of our tenured secretaries during the 1970's through the early 2000's. They kept the school going sometimes better than the principal! My teacher,s aide, Shirley, was a godsend as well. A classroom should never be without a good aide, especially in these difficult times!

4. Dear Santa Letter Week. Remember writing to Santa Claus for a doll or a book or credits to Google Play to download MP3 songs and apps to your smartphone?

Now we are adults and understand the true meaning of Christmas. What did you wish for when you were little? I really do not remember being too specific.. I might have said, please bring me a baby doll and diaper bag, a dress up doll, or tea set or board game. I do not remember too many trips to see Santa. I remember one time we went to Sears to see him! He landed by way of a helicopter.

Did you sit on Santa's lap at the department store for a photograph? NO . What do the little ones in your life ask Santa to bring? They do not believe in Santa. He is a story in a book but doesn't really come around to houses.
5. Happy 20th Birthday, Lando Norris! Lando is a Formula 1 race car driver.

Who took you out on the road when you were learning to drive? My dad tried, but he was too nervous so I got driving lessons from Mr. Frye.

Did your road test with the examiner go smoothly? Yes. What was your first destination driving solo? To take my mother who didn't drive up to see her mother about 100 miles away.

Bonus question: Ever dream of driving a race car? No Or a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500® with the Predator 5.2L 32 valve V-8 DOHC engine capable of producing 760 hp and 625 ft / lb of torque? NO NO NO. I'm sure hubs did though!

6. Please share with us something interesting about your week. I have basically lost my eye sight (really blurred) in the last 2 days due to dry eye.. My opthamologist assured me that drops will help. I pray so!!!

1. It's National Fig Week! We sing about figgy pudding in the carol We Wish You A Merry Christmas.

♫ ♪ Now bring us some figgy pudding
Now bring us some figgy pudding ♫
♪ Now bring us some figgy pudding
♫ And bring it right now ♫ ♪
Ever eaten figgy pudding? Or its close relative, plum pudding? How about cooking or baking with figs? Or plums? I think figs are delicious , but sadly I  have not had figgy or plum pudding.  I'd love to have some, but I've never really seen some of the ingredients in stores around here!

2. It is also Intimate Apparel Week.

Lace push-up balconette underwire bra and matching thong? Or the comfort of practical and machine washable 97% cotton with 3% Lycra?  I am very practical.. let's call that one done!

Alternate question for male lurkers: Boxers or briefs?

3. And it is National Animal Shelter Awareness Week. Have you adopted an AniPal®?  no

4. National Nachos Day. Credited to Ignacio "Nacho" Anaya who combined corn tortilla chips with melted cheese and sliced jalapeƱo peppers.

Any recipes you've invented? Or tried-and-true dishes that you can make by heart?  I'm not into that  too much.. I enjoy a bit when  someone makes it for a pot luck,  but  I've never  thought to just  make a batch to eat  for us here at home.

5. Happy Birthday, Opal Kunz! (1894 – 1967.) Opal was an aviatrix at a time when women were discouraged from flying. In 1929, Opal raced in a transcontinental "powder puff derby" in a borrowed airplane. Her beloved 300-horsepower Beech Travel Air was ineligible as it was too fast and powerful; therefore, "inappropriate for a woman."

It seems we have all had such moments in our lives when we are held back because we are women. What's one of yours?
I have always been very comfortable in my role as a woman..  girl friend, wife, mother, teacher, children's Sunday School teacher, dinner or tea party hostess..  homemaker... friend... I have never sought to do or be anything outside of those parameters, therefore, I have no story to share.

6. Please share with us something interesting about your week. Lynn  and I have  enjoyed  the adventure of   doing more  hand-on church outreach   this week...  This was an area  that  we have  never felt  that comfortable,  but since last week when we did an in-church outreach with the community  during Halloween,  we  have found meeting with  others,    not to push  a gospel but to live  the gospel before them, has  been  well met  for us.. Yesterday we  went around our neighborhood  talking to some    and  leaving  a note and  grocery bag   asking for  help in a community service  in helping to feed the needy  in our inner city... Those I spoke to,  were very   happy to  be   included to reach out.  We go back around on Saturday to  pick up any food bags   anyone has left on their porches for pick up..  Tonight  we go back to church and  canvass the church neighborhood, as well.  That being  a  rather unchurched,   yet  very affluent  area, it should be interesting.  I pray every home  will receive the opportunity to serve well!  On Saturday we  go around to be sure to pick up  any bags at home we  touched this week! Then we take the food to a festival down town pertaining to the  Feed the Valley event.

Wednesday Medley

1. During Red Ribbon Week a red ribbon or rubbery silicone bracelet is worn to remind others to live drug free lives and honor the sacrifices of all those who've have lost their lives fighting the war against illegal drugs.

Do you have family members or loved ones in law enforcement? Wearing any memorial ribbons or bracelets? My cousin is a conservation officer who also maintains the law in parks . I'm not sure if he is wearing a red ribbon or not!

2. There isn't an International Day for October 30th.
What is your suggestion for a new national or international day?
Read your Bible Day,

Why you should pick up your Bible today.

Sharing a wonderful article written by Nellie Owens.

There is a tremendous power available to us in God’s Word. Do you make use of this power in your life? Do you read the Bible – God’s Word? Here are 6 reasons you should pick up your Bible today.

1. Read the Bible: It contains God’s will for our lives“What is God’s will for my life?” There is no Bible verse that explicitly tells us what profession to pursue, where to live or whom to marry. But, nonetheless, the Bible’s exhortations, guidelines, commandments and encouragement give us very concrete and infallible insight into God’s will for us in every aspect of life.

Paul writes that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God …” 2 Timothy 3:16. In some translations it even says that Scripture is God-breathed.Have you ever thought about this? The Bible is inspired by God Himself! It is His Word, containing His wisdom, His goodness, His intentions, His judgements, His heart. Have you been so interested in understanding God’s will that you spend time with His very own Word?

Imagine that you go a day without eating anything. Then a week. And a month. As time goes on, you become weaker and weaker. Our bodies need nourishment to live. And it’s the same in our spiritual lives.

It is through our spirit we can have contact with God. Our spirit is what will enter eternity and it needs nourishment to be alive and awake to the will of God. Jesus said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4. He also says, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the fleshSin is anything that goes against God’s will and His laws. To commit sin is to transgress or disobey these laws. The lust to sin dwells in human nature. In other words, it is contaminated and motivated by the sinful... profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63.

If we want to gain life and nourishment for our spirit, it is essential that we spend time with God’s Word. God’s Word is a source of life! It contains infinite help and wisdom. And, when it is read and obeyed in a spirit of faith, it leads us to unimaginable spiritual growth.

3. Read the Bible: It gives us discernment

The author of Hebrews writes, “For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12.

As human beings, it is natural to seek our own way (Philippians 2:21), so it isn’t easy for us to discern between good and bad. Our natural judgments are often tainted by own personal opinions, emotions and experiences that go against God’s good and perfect will.

But, God’s Word cuts through all of this; it separates out all self-seeking in our lives and determines what is truth and righteousness. “‘Is not My word like a fire?’ says the Lord, ‘And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?’” Jeremiah 23:29. God’s Word is powerful; it is full of authority. It is a holy two-edged sword that divides between our will and the will of God, a fire that consumes impurity and a hammer that has power to demolish all innate sin! Don’t you desire to make use of this Word in your own life?
4. Read the Bible: It instructs us in righteousness

“How can a young man cleanse his way?” David asked. “By taking heed according to Your word.” Psalm 119:9.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

The Bible contains all the instruction that we need to come to a life of true purity and righteousness. It teaches us how we can follow Christ in truth. It contains words and examples from heroes of faith, prophets, apostles, Jesus Christ and God Himself! What better teaching, what better instruction is there for those who want to live a life that is well-pleasing to God our Creator?
5. Read the Bible: It contains power to overcome

After we have made the firm decision to serve God wholeheartedly and refrain from sinning against Him, we will still experience temptation in our lives. James says that we are tempted when we are drawn away and enticed by our own lusts and desires. (James 1:14)

It’s clear from Scripture that Satan makes use of these natural lusts and desires. He tries to get us to disobey God’s will, by offering things that appeal to us naturally: honour, riches or self-satisfaction. He even tempted Jesus, trying to get Him to give into egotism, pride and self-seeking.

But, for each temptation Jesus faced, He had a counterattack. And every single counterattack involved God’s Word. “Jesus said to him, ‘It is written again, “You shall not tempt the Lord your God.”’” And further, He says, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” Matthew 4:1-11.

Do you also have a counterattack for every temptation that you face in life? Do you fill yourself with God’s Holy Word? Paul writes, “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God …” Ephesians 6:17. The Bible, God’s Word, is a weapon. It is a sword that gives us power and authority to overcome in the midst of temptation. Why not pick up this sword today?
6. Read the Bible: It is full of God’s promises

And finally, not least of all, the Bible is full of extraordinary promises. It speaks of the all things that belong to the God-fearing!

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” Revelation 2:7.

There are an almost infinite number of promises made to those who live according to God’s will. Are you livingly interested in these precious promises? Do you want to see what God does, and will do, for those who live according to His will? Then, by all means, pick up your Bible! It will tell you of all the promises that can be yours, both in this life and in eternity, if you do the will of God.Why not read your Bible today?

Even at the end of his life BIlly Graham said, " My only regret is that I wish I had read my Bible more!"
3. On this date in 1938, Orson Welles performed his radio play of H. G. Wells' The War Of The Worlds. Some people understood it to be an actual news broadcast of a Martian attack though there were disclaimers throughout the show.

Have you witnessed an example of people behaving to the contrary in spite of warnings?

I have a cousin, bless her, who lives on the 16th floor of a condo on Myrtle Beach and she sits out hurricane every time... I think she believes she is invincible!

Bonus question: Did you listen to or do you stream radio shows? Listen to books or prefer reading?
I prefer to  hold a book in my hand!

4. Happy 80th Birthday, Grace Slick!

She sang with psychedelic band Jefferson Airplane and later reincarnations Jefferson Starship and Starship.

All rock 'n' rollers over the age of fifty look stupid and should retire. — Grace Slick.

Is pop music solely the domain of younger artists? Not at all. Look at one of the best guitarists of all time..in his 70's! He really rocks it with his goldies toward the end of the video!1:28- the end go Eric!

5. Tomorrow is Halloween. Any fond memories of Trick Or Treating or escorting little ones while they made the rounds? Favorite costume? I loved the year Amanda dressed up like Queen Esther when she was 4.. With her oriental beauty she really gob -smacked everyone at our little church dress up party.. I can't find a photo!

Bonus question: As an adult, have you attended a Halloween party or fancy-dress ball? Sexy? Or spooky?

No!
6. Please share with us something interesting about your week. I really rocked it myself at therapy today. She had me up on a high Peloton bike really going to town.. I never dreamed I could have gotten up on that thing... then she had me walking up flights of stairs and doing balance tricks I couldn't do last week!!!Thank you, Lord!!

1.On this date in 2001, Apple introduced the IPod, a pocket-sized media player. Are you old school with Sony Walkman and CDs? Has your iPhone or smartphone eclipsed those functions? Hop in the car and listen to the radio? Or you don't require a soundtrack to your life?Well, I do have to have music and I did enjoy my IPOD,but the battery was and is pretty shot, so when we travel I will hook it up to the car radio and listen to faves!! Good music is hard to find on a 12 hour trip!!

2. Today we celebrate Mole Day. Not the burrowing subterranean rats. Not angel kisses. Nor the Mexican sauce which is pronounced to rhyme with olƩ as if we are cheering a matador at a bullfight and is great with chicken and rice.

This mole is a relationship between mass and weight and is a basic unit of measurement in chemistry.

H2O has a molar mass of 18; a mole of water weighs eighteen grams.

It is expressed as 6.02214076 × 1023. Ten to the twenty-third meaning October 23rd and 6.02214076 translating to 6:02 in the morning. Or I suppose if you don't keep military time you could celebrate in the evening, too.

So. Are you a science or math nerd? Which begs the eternal question: Why are we cool and guy nerds are dorks?
NO, I am neither a math nor science nerd. But I'm pretty sure some folks would call me sort of nerdy in other ways..
I think it is the glasses!!
3. Because Mole Day is all sciencey, it kicks off National Chemistry Week.

Did you take a chemistry class?
Yes, not my best subject!

What were your first impressions on being in a laboratory classroom?

I hope I do not blow anything up!

Do you recall your early experiments?

I think I must have erased all memory of my chem lab!

Did you have a lab partner?  I have to switch here to Biology!!  I remember my bio lab partner. He was always absent on lab day!

Did you want to strangle him?

Since I am thinking of my bio partner, I'd have to say yes, esp. when we had to do dissections and I had it all to do on my own! Yuck!
You can thank me for not sharing the next photo!

Was the prospect of capital punishment or twenty—to—life in the slammer and getting a poor grade on your report card a deterrent?

I'd have to say that the deterrent lay mainly in the fact knowing the calibre of my partner in his dedication to learning, I was just as glad to be on my own...

Or was his enthusiasm infectious and she was a sheer joy to be around?
NO!
ALTERNATE QUESTION: Ever been on a date and the chemistry was just all wrong?
Oh, yes, especially in college,  when I'd relent and go on a blind date for a friend ..you k ow , she would bedesperate because her boyfriend doesnt have a car so his friend, the car owner, needs a date..If he had a car and needed a date.. I should have known better!!! I was slow to learn that it would never work out well!

4. National Boston Cream Pie Day. Not a pie. Two yellow butter cakes baked in pie tins. A vanilla custard cream filling with luscious slathering of chocolate ganache over the top. Mmmmm. Custard cream. Luscious slathering of chocolate ganache.

Have you ever spontaneously without forethought gone out to the frozen custard stand or ice cream parlor or soda fountain to treat yourself? Yep! ON a hot day I have a very difficult time denying a Dairy Queen
stop!

Met up with friends for coffee and dessert?
oh, yes! Great fellowship!

ALTERNATE QUESTION: When reading about something delicious, do you do a mental checklist of ingredients and think about heading to the kitchen to whip up whatever strikes your fancy?
no
I do not like to clean up a huge kitchen mess!

5. Heeeeeeeere's Johnny! Happy Birthday, Johnny Carson! And Happy National TV Talk Show Hostess / Host Day! Have a favorite talk show you regularly watch?
Nope!I did enjoy Johnny back in the 60's with my dad, but nothing today or since!
Image result for johnny carson tonight show

BONUS QUESTION: Do you miss Johnny Carson? Do you think he was a great host who set the standard for current talk show hostesses and hosts?
I liked him. But talk shows do not appeal to me now at all!

6. Please share with us something interesting about your week.

I have been waiting for a couple of months for my new Bible Study class that starts tonight. on inner healing and weight loss. I've lost 9 pounds in anticipation!

Wednesday Medley

Welcome to Wednesday Medley

1. Today is Bosses' Day. Workplace politics at the highest level of competition. Is this a day for employees to thank their bosses for being unfailingly kind and understanding throughout the year? A meaningless holiday pressuring backstabbing co-workers to kowtow to tyrannic managers? Or just another way for the groveling sycophants to max out their credit cards in a piteous attempt to curry favor?Even though in my career I served under some rather power grabbing bosses, I still appreciated the fact that I had a job and that the quality of my work passed muster no matter what.. On Bosses Day I showed the same amount of respect and appreciation that I tried to exhibit any other day, but I did buy a card and write a nice note of appreciation for the long hours and the dedication they gave to their job which in turn facilitated my position, as well.

Image result for Happy boss's day

Bonus question for those of us who've retired: On the One-To-Ten Scale, how incomprehensibly ecstatic are you about not having to put up with this kind of malarkey anymore? Or any words of encouragement to those of us who still have forty years to go before Social Security kicks in?

Well, first of all, I pray that SS will still be in existence for those who pay into it and it is a nice supplement to one's retirement. Next, I wouldn't call it malarkey.. I think everyone is entitled to kindness and a show of appreciation for work well done.. Even though it is a Hallmark initiated sales gimmick, perhaps we need the impetus and reminder to do what we should be doing all along.. showing kindness There isn't enough display of kindness in the world today. Based on the tone of these questions and the responses of many, everything seems to be becoming very jaded... Perhaps a bit more kindness shown to even those whom w e feel have wronged us would in turn bring about a happier effect over all. One of my principals was as difficult as any I can imagine... she worked until way after dark and really expected us to put in the same effort.. Of course, she had no family or husband, so morale was at an all time low. One year we had an state wide administrative review of our school which required hours of committees meeting to evaluate everything. I won the short straw as committee chairman to the evaluate the principal. After collecting the teacher surveys and compiling the report it was my job to meet with the principal and share the findings... I couldn't sleep for a week.. How was I going to do this... But I decided to just put one foot in front of the other, and show collegial professionalism sprinkled with understanding and kindness and it was amazing how things turned out .. first of all she cried ... and I saw the underside of her she kept well hidden. and I understood the pressures she had put on herself and why.. We talked and I was able to kindly give her counsel on how to proceed as she was feeling so humiliated.. After that she bucked up and was much kinder, and agreeable the rest of the time she worked at our school. Another thing was that I prayer for her.. Time and again I read that when we pray for our adversary things always work out for the best!

2. October 16 is also National Fossil Day! Just as new living species are discovered, new fossilized animals are found.
A type of trilobite was named Aegrotocatellus jaggeri after Mick Jagger, lead singer of The Rolling Stones. Believe it or not, there are plenty of people who feel Mick Jagger is a fossil.

If someone was to name something after you, what would you like it to be? I new species of bird I suppose.. a songbird soaring over the canopy of a lush forest in the far reaches of Patagonia.

3. Today is Hagfish Day! What is a hagfish? Well I wouldn't rush to look it up. Those things should come with a warning. All the cuteness of a viper and the cuddliness of an eel. Allegedly very delicious and plentiful, though, if you can get them to stop slithering around long enough to cook them. Which is why we celebrate Hagfish Day!

Which member(s) of The Animal Kingdom gives you the creeps? Or is it a slimy co-worker from Question #1? Centipedes, any snake, brown recluse spiders

Image result for brown recluse spider

4. Cheers! We also celebrate Drink Local Wine Week and National Liqueur Day! Is there a winery in your locale? Do you have a favorite cordial or a mixed drink made with a liqueur? A non-potent potable such as a refreshing smoothie? We do have a local winery up on a nearby mountain but we have never been there. We prefer one on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Chateau Morrisette. My favorite festive beverages are Fuzzy Navel at Christmas, and Irish coffee anytime!

Image result for irish coffee

5. Happy Birthday, Angela Lansbury! Her first two roles were as the maid in Gaslight and Sibyl Vane in The Picture Of Dorian Gray. Truly a star of stage, screen and television, Angela played on Broadway and as Jessica Fletcher in Murder, She Wrote. One of her most respected film roles was that of Laurence Harvey's mother in The Manchurian Candidate, an often overlooked political thriller. She was believable despite being only three years older than Laurence Harvey.

Can you think of any out-of-the-ordinary casting? Or the type of casting in which Hollywood expects us to suspend all logic? I can't think of one at the moment

6. Please share something about your week.

My Pt has rather taken over my life. I suppose I was in such horrible shape that 30 minutes of grueling effort three times a week fair takes the life right out of me. I made the mistake Monday after PT of doing a few errands which included rather lengthy shopping at Walmart. We were purchasing candy to take to our October outreach festival on Halloween, then purchasing items for our Operation Christmas Child boxes.. I am doing a little girl and hubs , a boy.. we were there a good hour and I was caving in .. my knees were throbbing and it took the rest of the day resting to recover... I am really sort of dismayed to find myself so undone .. it makes me think of my poor mother who suffered so much in her 93 years... Please Lord, take this away from from me. I am working really hard to strengthen my muscles and improve my balance, and thankfully the shining light in it all is I have lost 8 pounds in these 3 weeks I have 3 more weeks to go. I would love to lose about 5 more.. just in time to begin my study on Lose it for Life.. Nice to have a mindset already in place !
