Happy Fourth of July
Today I was privileged to sing with my church choir to celebrate our freedom... in our nation and more importantly freedom in Christ....

One of the most exciting songs it has ever been my honor and pleasure to sing was this one...Thou Oh Lord as sung here by this fabulous choir although I think we sounded just as powerful... the spirit moved us!!!

Of course we sang the usual patriotic tunes but nothing was more enthralling than our rendition of Hallelujah, What a Savior sung here on youtube... this song was such a huge blessing today because our choir did sing from their hearts with uplifted hands in praise and worship.... which many of us have longed for that freedom in worship in our church for a long time!

The National Anthem rang out!
Today, our wonderful church celebrated our nation's Christian heritage in a community out-reach that was a huge success. The church is situated right across the highway from our county middle school. The function was held on their stadium grounds and in fact is still going on with a community fellowship picnic. We had to leave early to prepare for a family reunion this afternoon. But I wanted to share about this most inspiring event!
Pastor Chip is such a powerful expositor of God's Word and has a huge heart for our military serving in harm's way over seas.

I could feel God's blessing on our nation as our voices rang out across the valley and surrounding hlls.
How Great is Our God!
We honored the various branches of service by playing the battle songs for each as a flag bearer paraded in. Glorious! Memorable events by our military were renacted!
we showed solidarity between nations... and we remembered the great deeds of our forefathers who made our country great, safe, and secure ***one nation under God! A wonderful patriotic time was beheld by all!
