Sunshine is lovely, but that heat is sweltering!

♥♥How I am feeling this morning♥♥

Stiff as usual, but once we got to church and our prayer and praise meeting I felt great!

Early we enjoyed our coffee and yogurt.  Gobbled a heated up slice of French toast 

left over from from the weekend on the way to church!

♥♥On my reading pile♥♥ 

We are still doing Lord, I want to Know You, by Kay Arthur, in 

Sunday school, but  I  got three new books last week for my birth-

day.   Of the three birthday books I received I am reading Wendell 

Berry’s book Hannah Coulter and really love it!

♥♥On the menu this week♥♥ 

 Monday- grilled steak, salad and baked potato

Tuesday- chicken salad wrap and chips

Wednesday - chic filet chicken strips and waffle fries

This summer everything has grown like gang busters.  The trees and 

shrubs are consuming the airspace!

♥Looking around the house♥♥

This last week I purged the linen closet and several drawers.  I now have a rather huge bag of paired up socks for donation, as well as several tablecloths.

Actually I am watching a Christmas Hallmark movie as I am doing this 

post!

♥♥Devotional, inspirational, prayer list or Bible verse♥♥

I have been going to Intercessors for America for about 10 years... feeling
all the time that America needed so much prayer and we prayed fervently, 
for deliverance for our nation, for its culture, for the decline in so 
many areas, now against racism, critical race theory in
our schools, abortion, just everything. 

Lately, as we consider the demise of our nation, the eradication of statues,

 and history, the voting debacle, the attack on families, churches, Christians,

 and the Constitution, we realize just how concerted the enemy has been over

 the decades to bring us to this point.
This is not something that just came upon us, but has been brewing for 

decades. I believe it really began in the early 20ith century with some in-

nocuous moves of various liberal presidents. These things were packaged 

to look innocent, but really were setting a foundation for future actions that systematically eroded cultural mores to bring us to where we are today. Unfortunately, as the erosion took place, the church was silent,   ( the 60's 

 with prayer out of school, and abortion)and the church continues to stick

 her head in the sand and allow the entities that are to push their 

ungodly agenda on the nation. God has a solution, but it all begins with the

 church. Christians need to seek God's face, and learn to know His will

 for them. When I began doing this I could hear the Holy Spirit tell me to start

 a prayer ministry in our small church. I was faithful, an obedient servant to

 do this to the best of my ability starting in June. We started with 5 faithful  

pray-ers. This week we had 7 pray-ers.. which is significant as our church 

only has about 35 attending members. I praise God for His faithfulness and

 look forward towhat He will do with our small group!. Pray that you might

 be a faithful and obedient servant and willingly attend to what the lord is 

speaking into your Spirit!.

Prayer:
Our government leaders to seek God, and for the fear of the Lord to spread 

among all people.
For healing of the sick, salvation of the lost, deliverance for the hurting,  
Personal: situations, Prodigal children to return to their roots and be 

spiritually healed, Churches to arise, against ungodly moves of government

 to infringe on godly practices... protect our children from the ungodly 

teachings and protect them from ungodly people who wish them harm for

 their own purposes. 
Pray for organizations that are doing good in the communities, Crisis

 Pregnancy Centers, Straight Street, Street Ransome, Salvation Army, 

Rescue Missions, etc!
