How am I feeling this morning:: I am so happy to be going for my improvement assessment at therapy this morning, but I do dread the stretches and  necessary pain involved!

On my mind::

I can not wait til Thursday when our daughter and family arrive for breakfast.

On the breakfast plate::
We brought breakfast in this morning.  I had eggs Benedict on an open croissant.

On my reading pile::
Reading/ studying the Books of James and Judges for church.
Our Sunday School teacher is a super thorough  researcher.  This week we are studying James, chapter 4.

On My TV::

I am hooked on
The Netflix  thriller, The Stranger,  a compelling work with many twists and turns
Great British Baking  Competition!

On the menu today::

Fish and chips

From the camera::

Looking around the house::

Day by day the house is coming together for a lovely visit with the kids!

What I am listening to::
I am actually half way watching Blue Bloods while I type this

What am I looking forward to::
Their arrival!

To relax this week, I will::
While I wait for Thursday I may watch  a bit of  Foyle's War   on dvd.

Prayer Requests:
Our president for protection, wisdom, courage, strength of body, clarity

For our government  (William Barr)  for justice to be applied to the corruption that has plagued our country for some time
For this coronavirus to stop in its tracks and not spread any more... Lord, protect the elderly and those in compromised health situations. Protect the health providers and the families where the virus is bringing suffering. I pray that this week we will begin to see a great decline in the number of deaths and the numbers o f healed will increase in Jesus name!.
I pray for inner healing in our nation regarding the ongoing problem with racism and it effects in our society. May the rioting stop in the name of Jesus..  I pray that the Antifa group would  dry up and  disband in Jesus name.  I pray for exponential wisdom  and truth to fall upon our media outlets. They seem to exist to keep turmoil riled up instead of bringing clarity to the situation. I pray they seek things of good repute to report on instead of always the bad..I pray they realize that pouring gasoline on a fire is more damaging than letting it go out of its own accord. I pray for people of every nation, color and creed to learn to live amicably together, that love would heal the divisions in our country. I pray the schemes of the devil that instill more and more unrest to stop in the name of Jesus.  I pray that the demolishing of our national  treasures will stop in Jesus name..   You can not change history through this detruction!

Special prayers for Hobert, Kohanna, Ellie, who have very special and immediate needs.
The lost in these divers places , that they will realize their need for a savior and turn to God through Jesus!
For God's mercy to hover over the earth and give people rest and the forbearance to continue to persevere in their trials and testings!

There was social distancing between tables, but we've been together with them all so much at church activities and things we all sat together and had a lovely lunch... just like old times!

Devotional/Bible Verse~

1 Corinthians 3 10-23
10 By the grace God has given me,(Paul) I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.

11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,

13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.
14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.

15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?

17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.

18 Do not deceive yourselves.
If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”;

20 and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”

21 So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours,

22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours,

23 and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

From the camera::

Hubs and I stopped in at the church on Saturday    while we were out  doing errands..  Hubs has a meeting tomorrow to  work with a couple of  others  on the nursery  at the far end .. to paint   and  freshen it up..There is a bit of  plastering  work that will be involved. We are  in the  throes of    doing  a  refresh overhaul of our  beloved,  but  sort of  weather beaten  church  building. This fellowship hall was completed just  before we went into quarantine..  It hasn't been used  since and  it sits so  lonely, but not forsaken..  I cannot wait for  the ability to  meet here for  Wednesday dinners,   and  small group    teaching sessions, instead of  zoom meetings.. I miss  being with our  brothers and sisters in Christ!
***By the way,  I am wondering.. if you have been using zoom  HUbs and I both have an issue.. We used to  always use out  PC's to zoom as we could comfortably sit  together,  but first  his and  yesterday mine    got a glitch!.. Suddenly yesterday, I was  told that I ahd to update to continue to zoom. I   stopped and updated,    then had to go back to my email to get the  invitation code,    when I  went back to the   zoom  app  I never let me get back on.  It just started buffering and never    quit.. So I  now can only use my phone or tablet... for zoom,  for  two is  not fun.. Has anyone else had this problem??

What I am listening to
My station on Pandora..
Loreena McKennitt ,    La Serenissima

What am I looking forward to::
 I am facetiming with my girls in a couple of minutes!
