then you are in for    the best to be  found in blogland....  I first discovered  her  insightful blog  when I started doing her  theme on  1000 gifts   a couple of years ago...then  imagine my  surprise and delight when I  realized that this is the one and same AnnVoskamp  who authored one of my very  favorite books  I am currently reading...

Yesterday I posted  my  Tablescape Thursday and    Thursday  Favorite Things  posts and    I thought  that these two  themes  are so  wonderfully inspiring  Id share them as well  with Follow Me Friday,  just in the rare possibility that  someone  may not have  discovered these two  Thursday themes before...blogland is so vast,  I am amazed at how  many new discoveries there are to be made here..  anyway,  Im sure  you will be inspired  by  these   wonderful  sites!  Enjoy  linking up  with  these  friends!!!!

Blog hopping is so delightful!  And when I found Katherine's Corner it opened the door to  adventures  and new  friends!

This  blog hop meme   gives us the chance to  share things we love...and I love transferware....  my problem is... I have no where to  put anymore  dishes ... which  have definitely become my
true weakness at consignment shops....    

My first love  was this red   dinnerware  which   is so very versatile....   to set a springy    or romantic table...

 

or  lay out a  morning tea for me!or even set a festive autumn dinner

a family breakfast spread!

 or to share  yummy yuletide  dessert!

But then I fell for this gorgeous black pattern  by Royal Stafford, The herdsman...  which tells shepherd's story  ...

and  I  absolutely adore sheep!

This pattern has  usurped the red  for  autumn tables!

 
Even   a bit  Christmas on  black  is  charming, dont you think!  Of course, it doesn't hurt to mix and  match  with a red  platter  of eggs and ham!

Whatever tone  or mood I  desire...  I find that transferware   is  so versatile and  fun to plan  appealing and welcoming tables around the year!

Today  if you havent already, Id love to introduce you to   Marie at A Year from Oak Cottage....  what  a  wonderful delight it is to visit her blog....her  deep insights into living, faith, and   loving   is hugely inspiring.. her  site is  sumptuously  beautiful and delicious, too, as she  also  shares the most amazing  home cooked  food  one can imagine with just about every post!  Not only  a  divine chef in her own right, she is also an artist of the most  lovely,  encouraging prints  for sale in her  etsy shop...   so much to see,  experience, and  find deep  spiritual  soul food as well!

There is  much excitement and  encouragement to be found there....  and  inspiring suggestions  for  Bible reading and verse memorization!I am  especially drawn to the   Cindy's vivacious personality and  apparent delight in  her  life in God's kingdom...infectiously  uplifting and  motivating!  Thanks , Cindy, for a fun-filled  yet  awesomely inspiring  blog!!

I was   blog hopping this morning and  revisited a wonderful blog,  Finding  the Inspiring....
 and was  so encouraged by a new initiatve   that will be starting up next week...entitled Follow me Friday which will be an opportunity for posters to link up and share other  inspiring  blogs  they enjoy..,  a great way to  meet  like minded and encouraging  blog friends and find the best that is out  in blogland!  I think this shall be a very  fortuitous endeavor and one I am really looking forward to!
