Best Shot, Monday

Photobucket
Tracey, at Mother May I , hosts this special meme every Monday.
Amanda was so excited to have my mom and dad come to see their new townhome a few weeks ago. With the reality of the kids' move to New England this winter it puts so many things in perspection. My parents at 85 and 89 will probably never make a trip to see their next home. Every visit they can share is so special, now!Amanda has such a precious relationship with her grandparents. They made a pact several years ago to always look out for one another.... and they do!!

Best Shot Monday

Tracey, over at Mother May I is hosting this celebration of fun photos. Check her site for more. Today I caught my dear husband trying to cool off while hole digging. I'm sure he was plenty hot digging 5 holes to plant our new trees... 2 red maple, 1 hawthorn, and 2 crepe myrtles!
Photobucket Thankfully, he got them all planted this afternoon! I am so grateful!!

I just love this shot of Amanda with my dad. This was actually taken earlier this summer when we went up to the kids' apartment to celebrate the Fourth! There sits a very happy granddad and a super sweet granddaughter.

Tracey, of Mother May I, is hosting the fun meme, Best Shot Monday where we get to share some of our favorite photos. You can find out more about it be swinging by her blog.
Today I want to share this darling shot of Amanda when she was about 3. Every fall we'd picnic at our favorite spot at Goshen Pass on the Maury River. Amanda loved to climb on the rocks! I think she was practicing a new smile for the camera!
