Happy Homemaker Monday

Good Monday morning  to all!
No photo description available.

Hope you've had your  first cup of coffee..  I'm working on mine!!!  and so

let's join Sandra's blog for the Happy Homemaker
Monday meme!

On the breakfast plate:::
My glorious  first cup of coffee and fruited yogurt,  thank you,  dear!!!!

The Weather:::

Not  looking that great to me!!!

On my reading pile:::

My Sunday school class  began a new study on the book of Ruth...  We are only  using the Bible    and a Bible dictionary  and  Concordance to  do  our in depth study!

What am I listening to:::
I  am listening to Pandora,  my  Anuna  station...right now  Driftwood, by Dan Gibson is playing.

Movies or Shows I watched this weekend:::
I finished watching the Mrs. Fisher  Mystery series on netflix.

I really liked it.. Also,  I am enjoying Christmas in July on Hallmark.  Poldark last night!!!   My heart breaks for Dr. Enys!

On my TV this week:::
Whatever catches my eye...  but it  wont be regular network TV.
I have lost all interest in  all the three major networks..  they seem to have lost their  moral compass.

On the menu for this week:::
no plans

On my to do list:::
marketing
laundry
continue working in the bedrooms    lots of  things to  clear away get rid of and   put to order..
work on Bible Study
correspondence/cards
do some event planning and  time management planning for    our daughter's visit next month
Women's prayer group
dinner out with friends
Prophetic teaching

Looking forward to:::
I have found  out that  the  upcoming family reunion is  going to be even better than I originally thought..  I seems just about all of the  aunts and cousins will be there this time...  I wish my mom  was  here to go...  she always loved it so much!

Looking around the house:::
the downstairs looks great! The upstairs is the bug a boo!!!  One  bedroom  finished,   the guest room to go..  but  my clothing is  the problem.. much to sort and    make some  decisions about...  and then    organize the closet... my most detestable job  but it must be done!

From the camera:::

I ran across this photo of my parents the day our dear friend, Mo,  visited from Arizona.  Mo is still a great face book friend,    we had a  great times  years ago when she lived near my parents, in Galax.

What I'm wearing today:::
Blue  shorts and  the coolest top I could find!!!  Poor Lynn is  mowing today!  I hold my breath  when he mows in  this weather.

One of my simple pleasures:::
I never got to do this yet...the pollen  on the porch was  such that we couldn't get it washed off  until later,,  then the heat and   continuing pollen in the air has kept me inside...  in-
stead of sitting out on the porch to read or eat breakfast, even..
I cannot believe I haven't set out on the porch  this whole season yet...  Maybe I can next week...  But  my allergies have been horrid..  and my hacky cough  is getting to me big time!!!

Bible verse, Devotional, prayers:::
A wonderful devotional  from Alistair Begg
...If indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.
 1 Peter 2:3
"If." Then this is not a matter to be taken for granted concerning every one of the human race. "If"--then there is a possibility and a probability that some may not have tasted that the Lord is gracious. "If"--then this is not a general but a special mercy; and it is necessary to ask whether we know the grace of God by inward experience. There is no spiritual favor that may not be a matter for heart-searching.
But while this should be a matter of earnest and prayerful inquiry, no one ought to be content while there is any such thing as an "if" about his having tasted that the Lord is good. A jealous and holy distrust of self may give rise to the question even in the believer's heart, but the continuance of such a doubt would be an evil indeed. We must not rest without a desperate struggle to clasp the Savior in the arms of faith and say, "I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that Day what has been entrusted to me."1
Do not rest, believer, until you have a full assurance of your interest in Jesus. Let nothing satisfy you until, by the infallible witness of the Holy Spirit bearing witness with your spirit, you are identified as a child of God. Do not trifle with this. Do not be satisfied with "perhaps" or "if" or "maybe." Build on eternal truths; really build upon them. Let your anchor be cast into that which is within the veil, and see to it that your soul is linked to the anchor by a cable that will not break. Get beyond these dreary "ifs"; stay no longer in the wilderness of doubts and fears; cross the Jordan of distrust, and enter the promised land of peace, where the land ceases not to flow with milk and honey.
