Tuesday 4 wishes you a very Merry Christmas
and a Chanukah Sameach.
Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4..
Let's talk about Christmas this week.
1. Martin Luther is credited with the beginning of the
Christmas tree but even older tradition says it
is the representation of the Tree of Life.. a fruit
bearing evergreen. What does your tree look like
this year. Would you post a photo or describe it for us?
On the years that we spend our Christmas away we only
decorate our little trees. I have a matching pair. One in
the living room and this one in our den.
I have shared it before when I put my dried oranges
on it.
2. What other Christmas decorations are up around
your house? Which rooms get them?We decorate the
living and dining rooms, den, and hallway.

3. Do the people in your neighborhood decorate their
homes for Christmas? Does your town?We see more
and more lights which I love, but we also see more and
more of those blow up yard ornaments which I detest.
I suppose the kiddies like them, but ick! Our town
celebrates Dickens of a Christmas throughout the
December weekends. The city Christmas parade kicks it
off.
We also host various foot races over the holidays. These
are very popular in our area.
4. How hospitable are you during the holidays? Could you
improve or are your hands full enough this time of year?I
love to have friends over for a special meal over the holidays.
My mother was quite a hostess so I come by that through my
genes I suppose. I am so pleased that so far we have cele-
brated at the womens ‘brunch, a Joy group afternoon party
with a dirty bingo gift exchange, a party at the home of one of
my 6 Sisters. a dessert party at a friend’s home and this week
end, a party at our Small Group leader’s home. Growing
up we seemed to always be celebrating in someone’s home.
. this Christmas is competing with that special time and I
love it!’
