This weekend is exactly the very best time to do a bit of spreading Christmas cheer!
I have a neighbor who has delighted us each year with an assortment of yummy home baked cookies. It truly has been a wonderful way to open communication for us, because they are a young family with children, so very much the opposite of us. This year I intend to bake some 7 layer bars to take to them. I am sure with all their entertaining they will come in handy! And from my perspective, they are not only delicious , but super easy!

If one batch is easy, two would be almost like doing just a bigger batch..right. And I can certainly think of someone who is a very dear older lady, who lives alone, from our church who I know would appreciate a lovely box of these bars. Looking after our brothers and sisters in Christ is certainly a godly, yet sometimes forgotten spiritual task. In your prayers tonight ask the Lord to place in your heart the name of someone who would be blessed by a batch of your home baked goodies!
