- These quotes were by Audrey Stanton from an article I found on line and whether you are discussing fashion, economics, or paint colors I think they hold true for all. For me they hold true to the manner in which I live my life according to Biblical principles I cherish! But, in these perilous, uncertain times I find that evaluating how I spend my time and what I put my mind on is key to my contentment and joy. I mean I love to watch slow living videos, as they most always demonstrate folks doing the things that give them joy, at the same time carving out more time in their spiritual practices.. Seeking Father. God, the God of the Bible is my main pursuit! But there comes a time like these troubling days seeing our nation fall into dire decline , unfettered rising crime, diminishing economy, extremely unwarranted spending in our government.. money that doesn't exist that will eventually have to be paid by taxpayers and their descendants, rumors of wars and the escalation of broken unity between nations.. open borders and the rising use of killer drugs, rioting and destruction of personal property .. all these things are real and devastating, yet we see nothing done to stop it.. Evil is seemingly allowed to go on and on without deterrents. Those who are supposed to be in charge are in fact manufacturing much of this quandary through wicked legislation and executive orders.

- We cannot just find our sweet spot of living intentionally for our own comfort and seeking beauty and desiring to placate ourselves baking bread and burning a candle. First, we, as Christians, need to live intentionally for the Lord and for our nation and our cities!
- -Waking up to what is going on.. seeking to be informed and knowing the truth
- -Repenting for being asleep and showing little interest or investment in being a servant to doing the will of God.. His will is that we act according to his word not hiding in a hole and waiting it out to see what happens
- -Seeking God and what He has to say about these things in His word
- -Praying fervently for His will to be done in the world because these things are happening everywhere
- -Perhaps even setting times of fasting and prayer we need to show God we are serious about needing His intervention

- For when the church rises up then we will see God step in and do a miraculous outpouring of His power to bring down strongholds . Many of us have been praying this for years for Him to act, but it seems now He is waiting on His church to get involved with him, too. Thus we are intentionally working with God in bringing about positive change in our land!
