John, a disciple of Jesus, was inspired by the spirit of God to write from His experiences with the Lord. Jesus, said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
John 14:6
I am the way
Jesus is the only way to heaven. ... The Bible teaches that there is no other way to salvation than through Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” He is not a way, as in one of many; He is THE way, as in the one and only. There are many in the world who say there are many ways to get to heaven, but that is a lie from satan... there are many religions, but without fail they are based on false teachings... they base their tenets on things that do not last, that do not have a basis of truth, and were ideas created by man.. To be a Christian you a re aligning yourself with the One True God of heaven and the Universe.. The Creator, of the ends of the earth.. The Holy One , who is so holy He can not look on the sin of man.. Each person who comes to him must be first of all cleansed (Repentence) by the blood of His beloved son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for the sins of all When we confess Jesus as Lord of our life His blood covers us and we are given His righteousness .. Jesus is the only man who NEVER sinned.. He was born of a woman, so is fully man, but His Father was God the most High.. and so at the same time He is fully God ..THis God-man is the answer to our fallen state as sinners..
Sin entered the world in the Garden of Eden when the serpent tempted Eve to eat from the Tree of Good and Evil. God had told them to never eat of that tree, but Eve believed the lie of satan and she convinced Adam to join her in their disobedience. The moment they sinned by disobeying God's command, sin came into the world and attached itself to mankind.. from that day forward we were all born in sin.. with a propensity to sin and desire to live by our sinful desires.. But Sin is death.. death to the body... therefore, our lives are a road straight to hell which was satan's plan all along. God had a better plan. But it meant sacrificing his only begotten son to die, once for all... and ANy who would confess the truth of his death and resurrection from the dead would be saved from hellfire and damnation and live in the light of God and inherit heaven.. eternal life!
Jesus is the only way to God, and He is the Truth!
Our attitude toward the truth determines the outcome of our lives. If we don’t love the truth, if we resist it, we resist salvation. But if we do love the truth then we embrace salvation and we receive the reward: the crown of life. The truth about who we are and about who Jesus is
God’s Word is true, and the Word became flesh. Sin is anything that goes against God’s will and His laws. To commit sin is to transgress or disobey these laws. The lust to sin dwells in human nature. In other words, Our lives are contaminated and motivated by the sinful... and dwelt among us. (John 1:14) So the truth is the life of Jesus – which is to be manifested in us. (2 Corinthians 4:10) When we compare His life to our own lives and see how enormously different the two are, then a light turns on for us. The truth is that light which shines into our lives and reveals what we are really like by nature. It reveals the way that we must walk on in order to be transformed into the image of Christ. (Romans 8:29)
The first step on the way of truth is taken when Jesus shines His light into our lives and we acknowledge that we are sinners in need of forgiveness, atonement, and justification. This causes us to repent.
The next step is that He shows us that, even though we are forgiven, we still have sin in the flesh, and we have to acknowledge that we ourselves are powerless to overcome when we are tempted to give in to the sin that is so rooted in us as human beings. When we humble ourselves to acknowledge this truth about ourselves then the Holy Spirit can fill us, enlightening us, leading us, and giving us the strength and power that we lack in ourselves so that we can keep all that God commands us – we can give up our own will and do His will instead. In other words, we can get victory over the lusts of the flesh which lead to sin.
“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.” 1 John 5:20.

Yup, only one way of salvation. So many saying just the opposite today.
ReplyDeleteYes, there are many misconceptions, because the enemy , Satan, likes to blur the lines and confuse the issues. He is, of course, the author of confusion! Thank you for your comment!

Paul's Concern for the Jews
1I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, 2That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. 3For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: 4Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; 5Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
Yep! One way! So thankful He directed me to it! Great post.
