Into the Light

So if you have been following the Road to Salvation series, one very important truth  reiterated  is that  all mankind is born in sin..    due to the Fall in  the Garden of Eden..  when sin came into the world  Another truth is  sin is death..   unless you have  been made alive  in Christ, you are like a dead man walking.   Your spirit inside of you is dead..you walk in darkness and the enemy  tempts you to only  desire  things  seem right to you,  but  will ultimately lead you farther and farther away from the light...    God!  This is exactly what is happening all over  our  nation,,    a spirit of death walks  around unchecked  because there are so many  dead men and women walking  who choose death, murder, abortion,  drugs, alcohol,  self-seeking, ungodly life styles.    Which all seem right to them in their deadness...   But God had a remedy for this deadness..  He send his son into the world to give them a hope..    to give them a choice  to choose life instead.  What is this hope? 
We know all living things need light, food, and water    to be sustained! Jesus provides it all!

John 8:12

I Am the Light of the World

12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 6:35 
I am the Bread of Life!

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst.

The Bread of Life is the spiritual food needed by man. Without the bread of life man cannot live spiritually. Just as physically man needs to eat in order to live, the bread of life gives nourishment for the soul. Unless one eats from the bread of life he faces eternal death.  The bread is the Word of God


I am the living Water

John 4:13-14 John, a disciple of Jesus, was inspired by God to write of this encounter of Jesus with the woman at the well, a sinner, a prostitute,

13Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; 14but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
Jesus  supplies  our needs when we choose to leave this death trap we  were born into  and seek Him... God doesn't wish any to perish and be left  in their  deathly state,  so His Spirit speaks    softly  to  everyone  at some time or another..  he is leading me to write these posts  so that whoever might  find them  may hear the gospel  and  know it is His Spirit that led people  here ..  God is a gentleman.. He will not  speak to you forever..  after a while he will move on    and leave you   on your own ... we have no guarantee  of a tomorrow...  and one of these days I will be writing a post  about just how  close  we really are to the end of days..   and  believe me  no one wants to be  without  a savior at that moment in time!

So what  can you do..
1.  Hear the word  about your need for salvation...  You just did
2. Realize  and admit, yes, I am a sinner and  become a seeker  of life
3.  Know in your heart and your mind that Jesus is the only way to  come to God, your Maker,  and to  receive  transforming life
4   Repent,  TURN, from your  hell bound  path and  receive God's free gift of salvation.
5. By speaking  your confession of your sin  and  your  confession  that you  know in your mind and your heart that Jesus is the Son of God,  that He died for you  on the cross,  was dead for 3 days, and was raised from the dead on the third day  ..  That by His  shed blood on that cross you  are saved  by faith  in that you believed these things about  Christ!  Once you  can confess and  pray for God's forgiveness, then you receive the free gift of salvation.


I am praying for you  to    make this  profession of faith  and  be  born again..  You were born in the womb,  but  your spirit  inside you is  dead.  After making this profession, you   are made alive in Christ and  your spirit is ignited  ...  God's Spirit   comes to live  inside your heart and you are regenerated into a new whole  person in Christ!  There God will  remain with you forever..  You will never again be forsaken or alone.  So you receive a new birth,   a new sight,   to  see  and hear from God  in your special times you spend seeking more of Him.  The Scriptures will  become alive to you!  And your faith will begin to  grow and flourish!  Haven't you missed out  on    enough  already..  There is soooo much more awaiting you  ..in the Light!
