I am feeling a bit uplifted this week to finally rid the home of the last vistas of Christmas and Valentine red and things are looking springified!!!
Dear March - Come in
Dear March, Come in
How glad I am
I hoped for you before.
Put down your Hat
You must have walked
How out of Breath you are !
March breezed into our parlor and dining room this week... well, it took a bit of energy and planning on my part, to organize the storage down stairs to get things ready to store for some items to bring out others.. But a lot has been done!!!
It was so much fun to bring out the St. Patrick's items...
I know the table needs to be editted... Just getting things together while I sang
Molly Malone
In Dublin's fair city where the girls are so pretty...
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone
As she wheeled her wheelbarrow
Through the streets broad and narrow
Crying "cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh"
Alive, alive, oh
Alive, alive, oh
Crying "cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh"
I love the Irish so much...

The tulips and lilies of the valley were an after thought, but I love the splash of spring on the table!!
It is so much fun to use my British cottage tea pot this time of year... anchored each side with little pots o' gold!!
Dear March, how are you, and the Rest
Did you leave Nature well ?
Oh March, Come right upstairs with me
I have so much to tell
I got your Letter, and the Birds
The Maples never knew that you were coming
I declare, how Red their Faces grew,
But March, forgive me !
And all those Hills you left for me to Hue
There was no Purple suitable,
You took it all with you !
I decided to pair my Johnson Brothers Garden Basket with JB Vintage Charm... I love to mix and match patterns... The aqua blue gives a pop to the table!!
The side board with the flash casts a more dramatic look as the lamps showcases my etchings from Ireland of the village of Adare and thee Gap of Dunloe!
Who knocks? That April
Lock the Door, I will not be pursued!
He stayed away a Year to call when I am occupied! But trifles look so trivial as soon as you have come That blame is just as dear as Praise
And Praise as mere as Blame!
I love that handsome photo of my grand dad circa 1917
The seasonal tree hosts many birds...I will need to get a close up to come later...
I look forward to getting more inspiration as I visit my friends' blogs this week!!! Happy March!!!
