Time is Short, Ladies and Gentlemen, part II

In part 1 of this  post  we saw  some of the proof of the coming of the last of days  through headlines and   news accounts. Now  let's look at another  passage from  God's Word!

ITimothy 3 stares:Evil in the Last Days

1But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come. 2For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good,4traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!

6They are the kind who worm their way into households and captivate vulnerable women weighed down with sins and led astray by various passions, 7always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

I do not think I need to go on...

When I look at our nation, our  culture  that has moved so far  to the left  I never thought I'd see the day... What is  wrong  has become right and what is right has become wrong..    If I feel so strongly about this decline ,what do you  think God is thinking!

Many, many  believers are saying we are at the midnight hour of  time.. God   is  love,  but He is also a God of wrath..  This post  says it better than I can.  #5  on that list refers to God's end time wrath...  in the Bible is called the Revelation! 

 

The Apocalypse as  revealed in the last book of the Bible    describes life on earth    at the very end.. the last years on earth, also known as the Tribulation.  It is reserved only for those who never accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior..  even though  they were given many chances to  repent and turn,   It was as if they shook their fist in the face of God and said, "I refuse to believe , I refuse to   deny myself, I refuse to  listen!" 

I pray I am not describing you,  because  it is so very possible this time is right around the corner...  and  the thing is.  believers will be rescued before that terrible day...  We will be caught up    and  rescued into heaven,  without even  tasting death..     I cannot imagine the glory of  being  raptured  alive and well..  My mother  hoped for it  in her last years...  she held on hoping it would come because even 4 years ago  the signs were pointing that  it was near,,  but   now  times have deteriorated even more...how much worse  will it get.  Some of the signs  that point to the end  are  already happening in  the Middle east..  between Israel and   her neighbors..  That is foretold in scripture...  the  stage is set...  Be watching soon for a post about  the Rapture!
