Silly me! I didn't think I had anything to share for Pink Saturday but suddenly, I do!!!!
I was taking Christmas down and putting it away,, such that it was. not much really,,, and was changing the dining room table to a more wintry vignette..
I put the red transfer ware away and had gotten out the blue to celebrate winter and snowmen!!!
Hubs had hurried out to the post office and grocers to beat the second snow storm of our season...I still have no idea what on earth we needed from the market, unless he wanted something decadent for the icy weekend ahead!
Anyway, I must back up a bit here... I really didn't have much to unwrap for Christmas ... I knew we were getting the gas logs which a re so warmly burning in the parlor so you must be thinking this must be something to take her away from their cheery flames!!
When Lynn returned he remarked,"Look at this> were you expecting a parcel from Illinois?"... Questioning, I said, "certainly not".. Now I will back track..
One of my all time favorite celebs is Richard Armitage... YOU probably know him from playing Thorin,King of the Dwarves in The Hobbit.. He also was the romantic lead in the English production of North and South. Currently he is doing British TV, but also utilizing his amazing baritone voice to do Audible books..! And before Christmas I saw this video
Hubs ordered it for me from London, well before the holidays but, alas, the due date was end of January...
so I thought, "Well, it will be a winter's surprise!"...
So sweet.. how the Lord works.. I had just finished my snowman table decor, when in pops Hubs with that package.. and there it was! Apparently, the package form shipped to the states via of Chicago.. no wonder it was taking so long!
I am excited as a school girl!!!!
Not only that, but Hubs brought something else!!!

It is snowing.. quite in earnest... tiny dry flakes that will and can pile up quickly on such a cold day!!!
And I am thanking the Lord for such a sweet surprise and His timing is so amazing!!!!
