1. Did you marry your high school sweetheart? Yes, I did and we will celebrate 48 years in march.
2. Type of car?
We had one main car in the family.. a white Impala.. but dad bought a 1949 Olds Coupe to fix up just for fun...that even had a choke, that I learned to drive on . .. It was a hoot!
3. What kind of job? My mother was the buyer at GC Murphy's at the Plaza Mall near our home..

This was one of the first shopping centers in our area and was very pretty in the spring with dogwoods, azaleas, and fountains. Because of mom's status she was able to get me an on standing job to work summers and Christmas vacations..... I worked the entertainment department, I did inventory, worked the candy counter, and finally worked my way up to register.. I worked there during summer vacations through college, as well.. It helped me pay for clothes and the personal items every young lady needed!
4. Where did you live? Roanoke, Virginia
5. Were you popular in school? I was pretty shy in high school.. funny to say, I always and still do get along better with the guys than the girls..
