Happy Homemaker Monday

 Friends, please note:
I THOUGHT I WOULD START OUT WITH A FEW COMMENTS    TO MY DEAR   FRIENDS WHO RESPOND TO MY BLOG.. SINCE MY COMMENT   THINGY JUST ISNT WORKING  ..
Pamela and Luludou:  I know what you mean, my  Mac doesnt  have a   cd player either..  I really miss having one because I dont upload tunes on Itunes. A friend told me I can upload my  cds on Itunes without having to pay so  I am trying that today  Then I could  use my phone  in my car..  hope it all works out!!!
Susanne: and Wendy: The water issue  seems to have been taken care of..  Thank goodness.  Even with the rain we are getting   no new leaks!
Jean:  I am so glad we have unlimited  phone data because I do understand I can stream pandora  in the car which will be  awesome when we travel! I listen to it quite a bit here in my kitchen!
Pamela and Jodi: We are so blessed with the car.  I love the way it drives and handles.  Our Pathfinder was    much tighter and heavier on the road which  was nice as we travel on Interstae so much; and Hubs fusses just a bit because the Outback is less hefty.  We do like having  a bit of sheet metal around us  on the interstate...   But  we  love the new car!!! I cant believe how fast our departure date is approaching.  Time is  passing  way too fast...
Faith and Cindy:  I believe that churches that are  getting more into  Apologetics and   how to share the gospel are  really  getting with the program. ( The Commission)  I fear the  church universal  has become too touchy feeling in recent decades  which relates to the drastic decline in numbers  of  so called Christians who have a Christian world view. When churches offer teaching, also,  that  takes on the moral decline in our nation  it  helps to promote a wake up call   to  people to come back to God  and His  Ways!

Willow:  The Bandersnatch sounds so familiar, but no I havent read it and now I am most intrigued. Right now I  am way behind in reading some books for my  BS and  our Apologetics class,  but  I will look into  ordering the book to take on my trip!  I love to read while riding.  Thank you so much!

Terri: I  turned 70 last summer and  sometimes I can't help but think that I am now  over the hill and my travelling days are  coming to an end.  But  I must fight against that. My daughter assures me we will be going to Ireland next  summer and perhaps   I can get them to work in a couple of days in Scotland then when we go.  Especially since we have saved so much money  from this past  dreadful year!

Well, now on to Happy Homemaker Monday!

♥♥How I am feeling this morning♥♥

It is a fine day, we were up and out early  .. I had to follow hubs to the local garage to get his car in the state inspection line.  Then  we drove home and have breakfast. Since that time I have been fighting off the sleepies!   I  laid awake a few hours last night.    That has become  a bit of a habit for me! It is interesting to see how many friends and acquaintances are up  in the wee hours  online!

 ♥♥On the breakfast plate♥♥

Coffee, yogurt,  then  a couple of bowled eggs and toast.

♥♥On my reading pile♥♥
Chronological study of the NT   using the online app  The Bible Recap...   Highly recommended!!!

Colossians  chapter 2 ~ as we  study this book    in our services..
Tactics by Gregory Koukl, a fabulous book on how to share the gospel with others..  we are reading this in our Apologetics class
Rules of Engagement Preparing for your Role in the Spiritual Battle by Derek Prince.  I love this book   we are reading for my Bible Study class!    Awesome!

 ♥♥On my tv♥♥

When Calls the Heart...   I am enjoying old reruns of Blue Bloods,   The Story of Audrey Hepburn on  Netflix.  I didnt realize she had endured starvation duing WWII.   Again  the many vlogs I  watch every day! I am learning  so much with a lot of inspiring vloggers!

♥♥On the menu this week♥♥

Monday - chicken filet  salad and  fries
Tuesday -shrimp salad and rolls
Wednesday chicken quesadilla  rice and queso
Thursday -our 49th Anniversary

We are so pleased that in the last few weeks  people are returning to our  small neighborhood church.  And we had a new family show up yesterday.  We had over 30 in attendance. We know there are a precious few older families who may never  came back and  we miss them dearly,   but  we have such an amazing church  with a pastor who  is the best I've ever had in 70 years.  You can see social distancing is not problem... for now!

♥♥Looking around the house♥♥
Do I have to..  Not much change..   I will dust the surfaces this afternoon...   And I want to change out the dining room  from St. Pat's to Easter!    Lots to do today !

♥♥To relax this week, I will♥♥
I will work on my cd's  and Itunes  and  if it is easy that will be very relaxing as well as productive!

♥♥Something I want to share:♥♥
I really enjoy Justian Marie..  She lives in Northern Virginia so I relate to her.

♥♥Devotional, inspirational, prayer list or Bible verse♥♥
Dear  God,  nothing takes you by surprise. You know everything that has transpired in the last  few years in  our nation..  I won't take your time reminding you but please  know  that our hearts are wrenching from the  knowledge that our nation  has  fallen beyond the pale into the  hands of an evil entity  that has been brewing for  a long time,  but  who has  reared its ugly head  mightily  in the last   few months. Deception, deception, deception!!!   You know best what is to be done,  so  we wait patiently for your help! Thank you for your peace  that passes all understanding.
Meanwhile,  we pray that the covid vaccine is   truly  safe and  leaves  NO  long lasting  problems. That  the roll out for it will be  swift and  securely  given..  That those who  have limited means of  acquiring the vaccine will be  found and  help administered.   I pray the the  virus will  run its course in due time and   I speak to the virus, "do not mutate any more, in Jesus name!... Give the scientists and  govenment officials  wisdom beyond their  usual understanding and  I pray that all politization of  health issues will be   stopped in the name of Jesus!!  God we  know that without you, we  are and can do nothing. Our trust in in you by the power of the name of Jesus Christ our Lord!  Amen

♥♥How I am feeling this morning♥♥
I am doing fine...  I've been getting around much more than usual and it seems to be helping my over all outlook and capacity.  Exercise  is a good thing after all!

♥♥On my mind♥♥

Well, I am still praising God that with this crazy culture and dilemmas we are enduring, I still  am at very much peace in my inner soul. I know nothing takes God by surprise and His purposes will be fulfilled in His timing!  I shared  the   above because it is so true.  I  go to prayer meetings and I  pray fervently and   then leave it all in the hands of  the Creator  who  has a plan and it will be fulfilled in HIs own timing!

♥♥On the breakfast plate
Cup of coffee and fruited yogurt, as usual! Thanks to my dear Hubs who has it ready for me every morning!  I am Blessed! Then  a bit later he fried up the bits and pieces of left  over  bacon    and we  had a bit of bacon with a toaster waffle..  What a honey I married!
