The Simple Woman Day Book Nov 21

For Today...November 21, 2016
Outside my window...
Cold and blustery!

I am thinking...
How fast time flies when Im having fun!

I am thankful...
that  God knows everything..  actually knew it  before the foundation of the world. ...nothing  is taking Him by surprise and He is still reigns on high!   He is in control  and   nothing happens,  but by his permissive or direct will...  Therefore, I can rest !!!

I am wearing...my long harvest house dress and purple sweater.. Chilly!

I am creating...
Getting the sewing machine out to finish a couple of holiday projects with my daughter!

I am wondering..what we will have for Thanksgiving... This year it isnt my call, but I hope to help!

I am reading...
Jesus Calling  Devotional
1Thessalonians chapters 4-6
IIThessalonians

I am learning...
at least trying to learn patience...  if I just didnt get so  tired of waiting!!!
My granddaughter taught me a new song about waiting
When I wait. I can play. I can sing or imagine anything!
I am hoping...
For everyone's    upcoming travel mercies.. that all arrive at their destinations safe, sound, and  in shape... then I pray  everyone gets back home  in same...  safe and soundly!!

Post Script
May the peace of God  reign over our nation and may the spirit of God  dispel the angst of the  enemy  who  appears to  have a hold of so many ...   may their hearts be warmed and  may common sense  return to the land...  In Jesus  name!!!

Donald Trump will  sit in the White House,  but  God is still on His throne!  And  Mr. Trump has vowed to seek  the Lord's council!  Praise the Lord!

"the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
From that time on Jesus began to preach, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near."
Matt. 4:16-17

Time is flying, isnt it!!!!
1.  I cannot believe it is already the end of the  first week of November...  for  us, literally Christmas, is  a few weeks away.
all I can say is thank goodness for  online shopping

Looking for UPS  packages  from  Jacques Penney,  LL Bean,   Grandin Road, Amazon, an Old Navy.

2.  Thank goodness  the  Lord  actually  seemed to send us  to Walmart yesterday...  it was like  Christmas had just arrived there... the inventory was  fresh and  not one bit picked over... In an hour we  had  just about  all the stocking stuffers we could  haul to the car..
HUbs  consolidated  our shopping into bags  in the dining room.. so  soon I will be wrapping like a  paper, tape, and ribbon mad hatter!

3.  So  over the past couple of days I have finally gotten my sewing machine out.  I had to  study a couple of youtube videos on how to thread this new fangled machine...  after I got the  gist of it, I love it...  and  I  started  my  lil' project for  our  sweeties...
Ok,,   easy-peasey..  but    for me  it was a bit daunting... I  made a  darling  apron for our lil chef..
I need to  press it..  and you may have noticed  my  Christmas  snowflake print  fabric  that I only need to  finish some hand work on...  it is a table runner  for   when I use my  red transferware  dishes...

I  have fabric  cut out and ready to go  for daughter's  gift...    but  not  quite up to  undertaking that one yet!!

4.Tonight  is the  last  area  Intercessors for America group meeting prior to the election..I cannot tell you how iomportant it is  to  be informed.. study the platforms,   and   pray  about this election...  and most of all.. VOTE!!!

Farewell

After  17 years of   blogging  I am  pretty sad to  just fade  out  with  hardly  anyone showing any   farewell,  concern  about my  surger...
