Thirty Days of Gratitude-Day 1

Psalm 100

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
 Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

We  have so much to be grateful for....  and in  my life    first and foremost is   that  God so loved the World that  he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him (Jesus Christ)    shall not perish, but  shall have eternal life.... that promise in   John 3:16  is our  free gift of salvation....not based on any good thing we have ever done,  but  purely   based on  God's  perfect love and grace  bestowed  on  us who believe  that Jesus is who he said he is... God's own son...   that even though he  was  without sin,  he   became  our perfect sacrifice for sin...our sin....  when  he was  crucified on the cross,  that he died,  was buried and on the third day he arose from the dead  and  now sits at the right hand of the Father , heaven,  interceding  for us....  he paid the price  once for all and  in that one  sacrificial act of love, he vanquished the  power of the evil one...  Those who read  God's Word  realize that  the devil   is a defeated foe,  but he still roams   this  world  seeking   souls  to devour   by deception and lies   in which he is a master...   We see  his deception and   the effects of his work in our world   because man  falls right in line with  his purposes....   I am so grateful that my family  has  turned their back on the world and  turned instead to God  in repentance and   I know   beyond a shadow of a doubt we will  all be together in heaven  one day
