National Day of Prayer

The below was taken from the national  website for your convenience.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress,  my God , in Whom I will trust.  Psalm 91:2

“Fasting and prayer are religious exercises; the enjoining them an act of discipline. Every religious society has a right to determine for itself the time for these exercises, and the objects proper for them, according to their own particular tenets; and right can never be safer than in their hands, where the Constitution has deposited it.” Thomas Jefferson, 1808

Historical Summary

By praying today  you are joining forces with some of this nations  greatest Christian leaders   in pushing back the enemy and his reign on our earth.

* Mrs. James Dobson (Shirley), Chairman
* Mrs. Joni Eareckson Tada, Honorary Chairman
* Mrs. Bill Bright (Vonette), Co-Chairman.
...to just name a few of the wonderful men and women of God's kingdom church.
Our nation is in such dire straits...  there are factors and whole groups  that want to destroy  us...our economy, our societal mores,  even to redefine the family, our most precious and basic institution.  Please take time out today and every day to pray specifically for our nation and ever facet of life in these United States.  The scriptures say in

2 Chronicles 7:14 .. if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

It is time for Christians everywhere to fall on our faces before a just and holy God in repentance for our nation and seek   His face and beseech Him to have mercy on us and heal our land!
