Baby, it's Cold Outside

Photobucket
Yesterday about 2pm it started to snow! Lynn had come home early from work to load up some firewood on the front porch for easy accessibility.

About an hour later it was really coming down!

I was glad I remembered the birds!
Photobucket
I beleive they are happy, too!
Photobucket
Dinner last evening was so joyous as we absorbed the beauty around us!
Photobucket
Yesterday was the perfect day to finish decorating the sunroom!
Photobucket
As evening came upon us the snow continued to pile up like so much whipped cream!
Photobucket
Then it was morning.. with 15 inches on the ground!

Some neighbors were much more industrious than we! But they are expecting family this weekend... maybe!
Photobucket
We have little reason to tackle that!
Photobucket
Besides...we can't open the door!
Photobucket
So why not just sit back, relax and contemplate ...Christmas!!!

  1. WOW! That's probably more snow than you usually get in a whole year! Looks so pretty, though! It's heading this way- we expect to get about 6-8inches tonight and more tomorrow. We're just going to stay inside too!

    Love you,

  5. That is just so beautiful !! Living in the Desert, I am almost envious of those of you who live in snow areas. I say almost, because I have never driven in the snow, and it probably wouldn't be a pretty sight :) lol ! :) Merry Christmas and a Happy Belated Pink Saturday !!! :)

  7. Wow, Carolyn! It's just beautiful. We had some snow on Sunday, but it is starting to melt away now. We don't tend to get a lot of snow here, probably because of the water. Your photos are so lovely!! Thank you for sharing...
