Thankful

This photo was taken Sunday night at the ER after mom fell in the bathroom. We were having trouble keeping the ice pack on her forehead, but you can see how the swelling was affecting her eye. The main concern initially was the possibility of brain bleed.

Praise God she was protected from that. Being on couminin makes one more susceptible but, thankfully her blood was actually at 2.9 that night which is a thicker level which probably helped her immeasurably. I firmly believe that God prepared her blood in advance to protect her. We are so thankful that nothing was broken and that she is getting along so well.

This bottom picture shows her state as the blood is draining from the contusion on her forehead. The doctor said it would probably drain all the way down her trunk! But thankfully mom is feeling much better now that her questions and concerns have been allayed today by the doctor's visit! I am extremely thankful for God's provision , His healing and the comfort and peace we are experiencing through this ordeal.

BTW, This photo below was taken this past summer.

  5. Schotzy, I am a bit late getting on with my blog reading this week, due to a new baby up at the big house where I work. I am so sorry to hear about your mum, but thankful that she is recovering well. My heart and prayers go out to you all. xxoo

  6. Hello Schotzy. I found you on Stacey's blog. Your mother's injury is so scary looking! Praise be that she is healing. Much love and prayers to her during this painful time and may her healing continue. BTW, you can tell her, purple is definitely her color, but next time she can just stop at eyeshadow or a nice blouse :).
