and one of my favorite sweets enjoyed there was a Cinnamon Chip Scone... I had no idea!
where have I been.... obviously not paying attention when passing through the baking aisle.... well, it isn't exactly the aisle I regularly traverse, but cinnamon chips..... wow....
so I looked up the recipe for these delectibles...I highly recommend you visit that link... I don't wish to copy her page, but I definitely have it bookmarked, those scones are heavenly and I will be making them .... lots of them!
The Taste of Home recipe is very very similar to my cranberry walnut scone recipe so I know they would be light as a feather and completely yummy, as well.... Just the perfect scone for my upcoming Book Tea... I am so very excited about my Book tea upcoming in 6 weeks.... My prayer Sista's and I are all reading Holy Fire, by RT Kendall.... and I am planning a tea get together to chat about the life changing book over tea and yummies...I am very expectant about this book...
My Christian walk has led me down various theological avenues,,,, evangelical Armenian, reformed Calvinistic, reformed charismatic to Baptist.... Many people might call me a bapticostal, but whatever you want to call it I know the works of the Holy Spirit are real for today and churches that do not teach the full gospel are missing a huge element of God's Word so completely relevant for today and the trials that are swiftly coming in our nation and the world.... If you are feeling a tug in your spirit for more, I urge you to check out this book....

I have seen this book "Holy Fire" advertised in Charisma Magazine and daily receive R.T.Kendall's devotional. He is so right on.
