Monday afternoon we drove up through northern Massachusetts with Amanda leading the way to Stow, MA to pick apples and choose some lovely pumpkins and some fall decorations... then we proceeded to leave our dearest daughter and move on up to New Hampshire to the Vermont border at Brattleboro where we stayed in a wonderful country inn... the Chesterfield Inn.
Our inn welcomed us even through a cold drizzle!
the lobby was very warm and inviting...
Our cozy room was a wonderful home to return to each afternoon after a day of touring!
