Thankful Thursday

Iris of Grace Alone hosts this theme every week.
Do you feel like I do? I mean we have just come off of passover,
the feast days in which we celebrate our deliverance from the bondage that threaten to consume us. Plus the awesomeness of Jesus sacrificial suffering and death on the cross for our propitiation of our sins- our redemption from the death and judgment that we deserve, yet because of the love of God He sent His only Son to die in our place....
this week, thankfulness does not truly cover the magnitude of feeling I have in my heart.
Everyone, everywhere is talking about these being the last days.... in fact, the last of the last days. We are told to watch the signs and they are everywhere. I am so, so thankful for the Holy Spirit who quickens me to stand in the gap of God's kingdom at such a time as this. There is much to be done for the Lord as time spirals to an end. Friends and family to be saved, people to be delivered, healed, uplifted. Mercy and love administered through the sharing worldly goods and resources.
Dear Father, Quicken us daily to be your ambassadors in this dying world. remove the veil from our eyes that we might see the need and be willing to serve with Your love and mercy. Allow us the wisdom and the guidance to see hurting people who need a healing touch from You. Direct our paths and empower us with Your power to heal, deliver, and restore. In Jesus name!
Amen!
Maranatha!
