Happy Hours Spent with Special People

We had such a sweet time last night! I prepared Amanda's favorite meal.

Caesar Salad

Teriyaki Pork Loin

Savory Peas

Fluffy Brown Rice

Apple Cake and Vanilla Ice Cream

(Actually, Momma provided the dessert)

Mom and Dad were in fine form!

Amanda and Joshua were happy and relaxed considering the pressure they are under to complete their projects.

The kids were pleased with Joshua's gift- a pen and ink work depicting various halls of Virginia Tech, including a prominent view of the chapel where they were married.

Amanda was incredulous over her gift for Gotcha Day! She looked hard to see if her eyes weren't playing tricks on her!

It is real- a Burberry tote!(never used- from my favorite consignment shop! Whew! I still paid plenty- but what a bargain!)

Mama Jean and PopPop gave them their hand made Asian birdhouse!

Then we just got to visit and discuss who was bringing what to Amanda's for Thanksgiving!Great family time!!!
