Thankful Thursday

We have so much for which to be thankful today! I was just speaking to my mom on the phone. She is 85 and dad is 89 yet to hear them they are so full of life, joy, good humor and expectation. Granted, my mother has to walk with a walker and dad is not too steady on his feet, but in their spirits they are young at heart and full of fun. I praise the Lord for them every day!!

  2. My parents were the biggest inspiration to me as I grew up. Now, only my Dad is left here on Earth - I'm so thankful that I'll be able to see him again tomorrow!

  3. What a sweet post. Your parents look darling!

Thank you for praying for my family and me. My daughter is fine but stranded in southern Texas due to the hurricane. She called and she sounds pretty sad. She was due to come home today. They have no electricity and some food but they have begun rationing it. I'm trying to not worry as she is in the Lord's hands.

  5. What a sweet, sweet post. It has encouraged me to be more thankful this Thursday, as I have been a little less-than so far. Never too late to turn on a smile of gratefulness. Your parents are so cute and obviously in love. Lovely! : )

  7. I read your post on your home page and I feel exactly the same way. I have spent to much time sitting in this nest. I feel God wants us all to spread our wings. I am getting there slowly. I have only been online for about a week. It is the best place to tell people about God. I work with elderly people all the time and when I see two that are as full of life as your parents are, it does my heart good.
