Northanger Abbey

Phase 2 has begun in our discussions and our setting takes up in the Bath Pump Room, a place to see and be seen.
Photobucket Once a great salon, now a swanky restaurant, but still just as fashionable as ever.
Photobucket In my mind's eye I can just see Catherine walking arm in arm with her new friend, Isabella Thorpe as they took their turns around the room!

  2. Hi there! I checked to see which Christmas Swap you were referring to, and guess what? I have joined the same one, so you just never know! I don't remember if I mentioned that I am a huge fan of Jane Austen, too, and have read all of her novels, although, not recently. It is probably time to do it again. My favorite screen adaptation of Pride and Prejudice HAS to be the old BBC one with Colin Firth as Mr Darcy! I have been to Bath, but again, that was a long time ago. It's fun to read all your Jane Austen posts! :-) Stacey
