I am so at peace with this scripture. It is a promise that I am standing on as we prepare for the coming election- an election that could very well change the very fabric of our nation. I find the possibility of an all democratic government horrifying in its implications- no checks and balances-at a time when the democratic leadership is pushing for a socialistic unilateral alignment in this hemisphere, where we will most probably lose our national sovereignty as well as our Constitution- the possibilities are mind boggling, yet the populace is blindly tumbling toward this, seemingly without a thought or a care. BUT!
God is the Creator of the heavenlies. He placed the lights in the sky! The promise herein is that He is a God of mercy. HAHA! He woke me up at 3am on the dot this morning to pray. Oh, how precious to know a God who cares so deeply for His children He will wake them up at the first watch of the day just to spend time with them individually. Praise God, He is in His heaven and He is not moved by the circumstances we see around us. He is in control, His mercy will see us through it all!! Praise God!

  2. I too have moments of temporary panic, but God has gently reminded me that McCain and Obama both are just men. No matter who is elected God will still be on His throne. I keep praying that true Christians will not be complacent and will vote. Pro-life and pro-family values are at stake.

  3. Great post, and wonderful WFW! I, too, am concerned about what will happen in our immediate future - concerned, not worried. I rejoice in God's love and provision, though, and trust Him to see us through somehow, some way.
